Glengarriff is a scenic village which has pubs, craft and sweater shops and locally you can organise boat trips to the tropical Gardens on Garnish Island. Glengarriff golf course is within easy reach of the property while the scenic seaside courses of Bantry, Kenmare and Castletownbere are less than a half hour drive away. The renowned lakeside Killarney golf courses are less than an hour by car. Glengarriff is a well recognised and renowned walking destination with walks for all abilities and ambitions. Sli na Sláinte is a marked walk of approx 6km with route markers every 1km ideal for an easy stroll. The Beara Way is a long distance walking route running through Castletownbere, Adrigole Glengarriff and continuing through the Caha Hills. Glengarriff Nature Reserve, a beautiful area of ancient oak forest with a meandering river, rustic old bridges, hills and valleys has a network of walks and picnic areas, ideal for the more leisurely stroller.
