One of Kerry's most famous blue flag beaches - Rossbeigh - is just 3 miles awat and the house is ideally situated for day trips to the Skellig Islands, Staigue Fort, Killarney National Park, Muckross House, Dingle and the Cliffs of Moher. The Kerry Way Walk is routed directly though Glenbeigh, the Rivers Behy and Caragh Lake are ideal for fishing and the local horse stables offer horse riding tours along the beach and though the forest and surrounding hills. The following golf clubs are located nearby: Dooks, Killarney and Ballybunion.
