The area is rich in archaeological heritage with many sites available to visit as well as the Castle of Mey, the sands at Dunnet Bay, Dunnet Head – the most northerly point on the British mainland, the stacks of Duncansby and the various old fishing villages dotted along the coastline - all within easy reach. A lovely location for touring and soaking up the ambience of a bygone age.
