Boasting far reaching views to the Cheviot Hills and lovely walking from the doorstep this cosy and comfortable cottage (shown right of photograph) is set just 5 miles from sandy beaches at the village of Eyemouth where visitors can feed wild grey seals. Enjoying its own garden the cottage sits on the owners' 200 acre arable farm an idyllic spot threaded with many footpaths. Boat excursions are easily available and the nearby coastline is famed for crystal clear waters shipwrecks and diverse marine life – a paradise for divers. Picturesque St Abbs with its harbour and nature reserve the golden sands of Coldingham Bay and historic Berwick-upon-Tweed are under 10 miles whilst the beautiful city of Edinburgh is an hour's drive. The village of Ayton's imposing castle shop and pub are 3 miles.

" Spent a really pleasant week at the cottage. The location is very secluded (which is what we wanted) although there is a village about two miles away. The cottage is very well equipped and you could not possibly want for anything. The cottage was very comfortable clean and warm.
The area is pleasant (although not much happening) but within reasonable driving distance there is plenty to see and do. Ediburgh is about an hours drive away.
If you are looking for a fairly secluded location with a fairly well equipped cottage then I would certainly reccomend Foulden Hill Farm Cottage. "
