" We have just returned from a weeks stay at Glen Lodge and did not want to leave. After unpacking we felt at home straight away, personal touches such as fresh flowers, chocolate, wine and homely furnishings all helped to relax and unwind. The Lodge is just stunning, warm, furnished with care and very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with all that’s needed including the essentials, milk, tea, coffee.......... The bathroom is a lovely size, great bath and large shower, again various toiletries are provided in case anything is forgotten. Fresh flowers in the living room, bathroom and both bedrooms were a lovely touch. Wood burner, well, a real treat, gave my guy the chance to show off with an axe, although don’t think that you have to chop your own trees down, he merely had to trim some blocks! TV, DVD and films games console and so many informative brochures for local attractions, walks, Castles mean there is much to do and walks from the doorstep. The Lodge is located at the Southern edge of the Cairngorms which we spent much time exploring. Owners are close by for anything that's needed, they pop in to say hello and then leave you to it, lovely people. A fantastic holiday make all the more special by having the perfect place to stay, thanks :) "
