" The cottage provides a quiet retreat which is within easy reach of many attractions including Berwick-on-Tweed, Lindisfarne, The Farne Islands and a multitude of castles and houses. The welcome was outstanding and every requirement in the cottage was catered for. "

" This cottage is first class. Beautifully presented, you feel at home straight away. Set in a rural location yet still well placed for lots of places of interest i.e. castles, beaches etc. Highly recommended. "

" This was our second visit to Allerdean. We loved it so much the first time that we had to go back again. The cottage is wonderful. Jan always greets you as an old friend, nothing is too much trouble. We visited alot more different places and there is still so much more to see. We will go again, hopefully next year. "

" Cottage felt like home from the moment we walked in the door. Excellent base for exploring Northumberland and Scotland. "
|
|
" This is a lovely comfortable cottage in a peaceful rural setting. Although there were just the two of us it will accommodate four people easily (having both a shower room and bathroom upstairs). Safe parking by the side of the cottage for two-three vehicles was a definite plus. The cottage is well situated for a holiday spent exploring the Scottish borders and North Northumberland (Berwick-upon-Tweed is only about 5 miles away). I would definitely recommend it. "

" The owners have gone to a great effort to provide every home comfort in the accommodation even down to a 'pond kit' (flasks etc.) to take down and enjoy by the delightful pond next to the property. The owners who live next door could not have been more helpful and I have not the slightest reservation in thoroughly recommending the accommodation. "
