" Hollybush Cottages in Denford Leek is a must for dog owners. The welcome at most pubs in the area is fantastic with many lovely walks on the doorstep "

|
" Hollybush Cottage was warm clean and very well decorated and it had all the amenities to make it a great place to stay. The pub offered excellent and very good value food and the staff were very friendly. We took our 2 dogs and there were plenty of well signposted walks where you could take them. "

" Lovely cottage and very peaceful. We found the local people were very friendly. The cottage was situated by the canal which was really lovely as you could watch the narrow boats go along the canal or if you wanted you could go for walks along the canal banks and take in the scenery. Excellent - I hope to return in the near future. "

" This was a splendid holiday and the location in a wonderful valley along by the canal superb. It proved to be an anglers delight - all free. Easy access to wonderful moorland scenery and the nearby Peak District made days out easy and most interesting. We particularly valued the unspoilt countryside and wealth of wildlife. "

" We really enjoyed the holiday and the relaxed atmosphere of the cottage and surrounding area. Everyone we met was friendly and made us feel comfortable and welcome we felt accepted and part of the small community from arriving. We enjoyed a drink in the friendly nearby pub, lovely walks and exploring the surrounding area. On returning home we had some very good memories of the cottage, the place and the lovely people we had met there. We came home happy rested and chilled! "

|
" Lovely clean cottage with all mod cons. Very friendly people in pub and surrounding area with the most lovely walks along canal for the dogs. Only points to pick up on would be a 'manual' of what bins to use for recycling and handy phone numbers, how central heating works etc... would have been really handy. Would also be nice just to leave a pint of milk and a few teabags like a "Welcome Pack" that we have noticed in most properties. Otherwise a good short break cottage. Emma Bridgewater Factory in Stoke a must! "
