" August 2009 Stayed for a short break at Kiln Cottage and was very impressed with the size of the cottage. We had three small children with us and there was plenty of space for them to play. The garden was also very big, it was just a shame we didn't have the weather for them to play out in it!! The owners couldn't have been more helpful and were on hand to give advise on places to go in the daytime and for evening meals which we were glad of. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope that we can get back there ourselves one day. A great base to see the Lake District. "

Have never stayed anywhere that has so many dvds,videos,childrens indoor board games,jigsaw puzzles, books etc. A truly grand selection of crockery and glassware together with cooking pots and pans made it a good place to stay and relax. These owners had great pride in their holiday home and really did provide every home comfort. Owners were helpful but unobtrusive. "
