This charming 17th century timber framed black and white cottage boasts an abundance of oak beams and original features in its very comfortable interior and beautiful enclosed grounds encompassing lawns pretty flower borders and an orchard. Just 5 miles away is historic Ludlow – a gourmets' delight with fine restaurants and shops and an imposing castle whilst the Ironbridge Gorge Shrewsbury Acton Scott working farm museum and Wenlock Edge are all easily accessible. Village pub and shop ¼ mile.

" The cottage is situated in an excellent area for exploring Ludlow and the surrounding countryside. It proved to be a great choice for a family get together and we enjoyed walks in the local countryside and meals in the local pubs, notably The Riveside Inn at Aymestrey and The Boot Inn in the nearby village of Orleton. The 16th century cottage was both interesting to explore and surprisingly spacious for 8 persons and we very much appreciated the fresh bread and fruit provided by the owner on our arrival. "
