Use of two adult season tickets for New Cumnock Angling Association mean you can enjoy free fly fishing on Glen Afton Reservoir, a nice way to relax and unwind. There are good walking and cycling opportunities from the doorstep, over 40 golf courses in the area, and free river and loch fishing is available from the farm. This New Cumnock cottage makes an ideal base for touring the wonderful countryside, lovely gardens and the nearby Ayrshire beaches.

New Cumnock is a village in beautiful Ayrshire, which dates back to the 13th Century. The countryside surrounding New Cumnock is renowned for its beauty, with the river valley Glen Afton often visited by the Scottish poet Robert Burns, and the river Afton itself immortalised in song. Burns' visit itself has been memorialised in the form of a stone cairn and picnic area. There are stunning links golf courses in the area, including the seaside course at Ayr, the town which also offers ample of bars, restaurants and a sandy beach. From castles to deerparks to walking, cycling and fishing, there is so much on offer in this lovely Scottish region.
