" We had a lovely stay at the lodge. I enjoy this part of Scotland very much, and Scottish history, my daughter who is 17 also enjoyed it very much. We went on a walk up Glen Tilt, which was fab with great views. The lodge was well equipped and clean. I dont drive but there is a good bus service, and also a train service, i would certainly go back for another holiday. "

" If you want a quiet holiday then this is it. Beautiful location. Lovely to wake up to gorgeous views. "

" A well equipped compact lodge, ideally located for all local amenities. Pitlochry town is circa 5 miles distance, and has a good selection of shops and eating places, we would particularly recomend the Strathgarry hotel for coffee, cakes and main meals with excelent service and fair prices. A trip up the cairngorms mountains is an excellent walk, but there are plenty of local walks and places to visit including our favourites: Bruar Falls & the Queens View, both are having exceptional views and scenery. " The lodge was lovely, fantastic location and plenty to see in the surrounding area but you do need some form of transport. We had a grear holiday, very relaxing with the sound of the river and our regular little visiter the red squirrel to the peanut feeder was a real treat to watch. Some nice places to eat out in Pitlochry, we will be returning again in the near future. "

" Blair Atholl provided an amazing week including the Duke reviewing his troops - an annual event that we just happened to score! Partner Peter Murray was particularly thrilled of course. "

" Lovely lodge in a tranquil and majestic location - red squirrels and many species of bird's regular visitors. Very good value for money. The sound of the river was very relaxing and there are lots of walks and places to visit in the area. The restaurant on site - the loft is excellent. "

" The sound of the river tilt rushing over the stony river bed was a truly relaxing background noise and the perfect view to wake up to each morning. River Tilt is a good base area to discover Tall Trees country and some amazing Scottish views! "
