Located in the heart of the historic market town of Alnwick, this lovely first floor apartment has been recently refurbished to provide excellent holiday accommodation. Each of the rooms is a different shape and size making the apartment truly quirky and oozing charm! The kitchen boasts a lovely feature range and is fitted with solid oak units, granite work surfaces and slate flooring. The Oakwood is situated in Fenkle Street, snuggled behind the market square and only a gentle stroll from the entrance to Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland and film location for Harry Potter's Hogwarts Academy!

Alnwick, with its cobbled streets, was recently nominated as' the best place to live in Britain' by Country Life magazine and offers a wide range of amenities including a live theatre/cinema, leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, health spa and gym, and an 18 hole golf course, along with a wide array of shops, pubs and restaurants. The Alnwick Garden is a popular visitor attraction with its Grand Cascade waterfall, water sculptures, poison garden and restaurant incorporated within the largest tree house in Europe.
