Semi detached the cottage has its own garden and is only 300 yards from the nearest shop and pub. Walking climbing tennis and golf are available locally along with coarse fishing. At Grizedale Forest 27 miles away there is cycling and at Coniston Water 10 miles sailing and watersports. The sandy beach at Haverigg is within 9 miles and other local attractions include Windermere Ravenglass and Eskdale railway and Muncaster Castle.
