Close by is Bakewell, capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding which is still made locally to an old and secret recipe. This picturesque town is at the heart of the Peak District, and further attractions in the area include Gulliver's Kingdom, the shops and eateries of Matlock Bath, and within easy touring distance, Alton Towers making the location ideal for the whole family to enjoy.
