In a woodland setting this very comfortable detached cottage enjoys a one acre enclosed garden plus fishing on the River Derwent just 50 yards across a meadow. There is a dining pub and shop just 100 yards away and Cromford and Crich (3 miles) offer good shops cafés and restaurants. The Heights of Abraham cable car and High Peak cycle trails are under 5 miles Chatsworth and Carsington Lake for water sports are both under 10 miles.

" This is the kind of place you would wish to have as your idyllic home. Quiet snug with all facilities. Very nice patio and garden. We went to Chatsworth and Haddon Hall as usual. We would recomend particularly Bolsover Castle and Hardwick hall. "

" It is a wonderful location for all there is to do (and there is lots) but if you don't want to go far you need not be bored. The local pub was a quick walk across the road and very welcoming. The accommodation was just right for those of us with teenagers and dog. All in all a very comfortable cottage! "
