" I would recommend this holiday cottage to others, as my kids had a fantastic time feeding the ducks and going on long walks, the scenery is amazing. And we found a great Chippy in the village, although to eat somewhere nice you need to drive to the nearby village and make sure the restaurant is not closed for the week that you are visiting. "

" Lovely cottage situated on the banks of Loch Shin on the edge of the village, Lairg. Woodland walks and playing field directly behind the cottage, along with Ferrycroft Visitor Centre which has an excellent tourist informaton service. Great location for those interested in walking, mountainbiking and canoeing. For bird lovers, there are ducks galore keen to welcome you when you open the front door. Had a lovely time here as there was much to see and do in the immediate area, and it was pleasure to drive through the Sutherland and Caithness scenery to see the top of mainland Britain in search of the elusive puffin.
