Drumshanbo is a traditional Irish town located in County Leitrim. It is home to lively Irish pubs, mouth watering restaurants and quaint shops, and also plays host to a number of popular festivals which are held throughout the year. Walkers and ramblers will be delighted to learn that the town is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, woodlands and lakes. To the north of the town is Lough Allen, the third largest lake on the River Shannon, with excellent angling and opportunities for windsurfing, canoeing and other water sports. If golf is your game, you will find four excellent courses within easy reach.
