For family days out The Forbidden Corner with its underground labyrinth of tunnels hidden doors and surprises is only 8 miles distant and the many delights of the Lightwater Valley theme park which include Europe's longest rollercoaster a birds of prey centre and a creepy crawly cave are just half an hour away.
