The original stone walls and brick arches are a real feature, and every care has been taken to ensure that warmth and comfort are enjoyed by all. Minutes from Ardee market town and within an hour of Dublin. County Louth has something for everyone, golden beaches on the Cooley Peninsula, the World Heritage site at Newgrange and many leisure activities including golf, fishing and riding.

Built in the 1840, these restored barns were once part of the impressive Knockabbey Castle Estate. Whilst the original 1,000 acre estate no longer operates, the Castle and Gardens remain for your enjoyment (open May to Sept). See the medieval water garden which originates from 1050. Louth is ideal for cycling and walking with the long distance walking route The Tain Way on your doorstep. The local village of Tallanstown has been a National Tidy Towns winner and boasts a good range of pubs with traditional music at various times.
