Internal stairs lead to this very comfortable and spacious first floor property. Open plan beamed sitting room with wood burning stove double sofa bed (for + 2) dining and kitchen areas. Double bedroom. Twin bedded room. Bathroom/WC (shower over bath).
Tucked away deep in the rolling Herefordshire countryside these outstanding cottages enjoy use of an indoor heated swimming pool and are ideal for family reunions of up to 26 people. Carefully converted from the 15th century Treago Castle's Victorian stable building they are comfortably furnished and well equipped. Treago stands in 5 glorious acres of grounds which include a vineyard (wine can be purchased) a charming Victorian walled garden and an arboretum. The city of Hereford with its fine cathedral is only 11 miles away and Ross-on-Wye offering numerous watersports including canoeing and fishing is 8 miles. There are good walks locally and bird watching nearby. Shop and post office are ½ mile away and various inns serving good food are within 5 miles.

The owner was very friendly and helpful providing infomation about the castles history they was also able to provide infomation about the best pubs and resturants to go to in the local area. The propety we stayed in was clean and well presented and comfortable.The castle grounds were extremly extensive and well kept all of which the owner allowed us to look round at our leisure. We enjoyed the swimming pool which was on site which we often had to ourselves which was nice. "
