Enjoying its own private garden The Granary discreetly shares six acres of grounds with chickens ducks a horse goats and peacocks along with the owners' quintessentially English tea rooms offering delicious home baking and cream teas. With lovely walking on the doorstep and a beautiful rural location ideal for exploring the South Downs National Park The Granary lies just 3 miles from the charming town of Steyning one of the prettiest small towns in Sussex. Worthing Shoreham-by-Sea and Lancing are all under 5 miles whilst Littlehampton and cosmopolitan Brighton are a little further afield. Pub serving food 2 miles.

" Our stay at The Granary was lovely and very enjoyable. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, and always ready to help with advice on where to visit, and directions to places. The setting for the cottagei s ideal, next to the tearooms (which srve very delicious food, including mightily substantial breakfasts!!), and within easy distance of everywhere. The cottage is very cosy and homely, and the animals that live next to the cottage are lovely – ducks, chickens, turkey, a pony and geese, which all add to the cottages charm. Places to visit – Brighton (Park and Ride available, park at Brighton & Hove football stadium and catch the bus from there), and The Lanes is good for shopping. Arundel Castle & Town – a beautiful castle and grounds and Eastbourne. A very lovely place for a holiday! "

" A very nice, comfortable cottage within easy reach of Worthing and Brighton. We found Interwok chinese buffet in Worthing - an excellent choice of food and was all hot. If you are going to Brighton, drive to Shoreham On Sea and park near the train station for free, then take the train for about the same cost as 1 hours parking in Brighton. "
