" Had a great time - visited Malmesbury, Tetbury, Stow on the wold, the motor museum (very good) at Bourton on the water (fantastic time with the kids slashing in the river), Longleat (needs a full day - get up early!), Malmesbury Abbey Gardens (brilliant), Bowood (great adventure playground for the kids), the Westonbirt Arboretum (lots for the kids to do). Also recommend the Carpenters Pub (just down the road) for great home cooked food and a good garden/play area. "

" A very clean, well-maintained holiday cottage: the photos do not do it justice. Spacious living areas. Huge master bedroom and small second and third bedrooms. Modern bathroom and shower room. Fascinating to see the cows outside the window so closely! Can be a bit muddy outside in bad weather, but it is on a working farm. Perfect base for trips to Cirencester, Malmesbury, Tetbury and the Cotswolds. Easy to get to. Would definitely stay again. "

" We had a lovely time in the Old Stables. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. The pictures did not do it justice! The cottage was in close proximity to the village and we enjoyed a nice walk and a good pub lunch! "

" The location is ideal if you want to visit both Wiltshire and the Cotswolds. Sherston is a lovely little village and the pack with local walks that was available at the cottage for was great especially good for those of us with a dog. "

" A very nice cottage for a quiet break away. We received a warm and friendly welcome from the host family. The children enjoyed watching the calves being fed. We were shown where to allow the dog to run free and there is plenty of fields to allow the dog to run freely! The Carpenters Arms provided good hospitality and good food. There are plenty of places to visit within a short drive. "
