Set in 40 acres of valley surrounded by oak forest these three romantic properties each with its own hot tub offer a perfect year round setting in which to relax and unwind. Shared with the owners the grounds are home to wildlife ponds and a small river for fun fishing whilst the whole farm is now a conservation area and a haven for the rare Brown Hairstreak butterfly badgers and much more. There are beautiful walks through the forest – one area looks towards the mountains with sunsets that are out of this world whilst another offers swings and seating spots in lovely riverside surroundings. Unspoilt National Trust beaches are just 9 miles away and the dolphin and seal watching excursions readily available along the coast are some of the most popular excursions in mid Wales whilst further inland white water rafting superb fishing nostalgic journeys on the Teifi Valley narrow gauge steam railway and a host of other fantastic attractions are within a short drive of Wern Newydd Farm. A selection of shops can be found in Llandysul (2 miles) and a village shop/P.O. and an excellent pub serving good food lie conveniently at the end of the farm drive.

" We had a great time at the Shire Mill last month. The property and the hot tub were fantastic in a beautiful part of the world. The owner was lovely and very helpful.
If you love animals this is the place for you - there are chickens and pigs to feed scraps to, a lovely little dog to walk, a horse to play with as well. You can even buy eggs from the rescue chickens! Would definitely recommend this to people - a real touch of rustic luxury. "

" The cottage was set in a beautiful location! We really enjoyed the walks around the farm which were all nicely maintained through the woods. It was also very beautiful with the animals running around, the river flowing through and then the stunning valley view at the top of the hill. The cottage was lovely with lots of small added touches showing the owners really thought about the presentation. The hot tub was a great addition! "

Shire Mill is in a lovely location with the sea only a 10min drive away. The family were great and very helpful, take their advice on beaches and where to eat!
