Midway between Symond's Yat and Ross-on-Wye within easy reach of the Royal Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley this tastefully converted old smithy enjoys a village setting. Adjoining the owners' home – formerly the blacksmith's cottage – and with shared use of their large garden it makes an ideal base for a relaxing holiday at any time of year. The beautiful surrounding countryside offers excellent walking and cycling (cycle hire nearby) as well as golf fishing canoeing and riding. Historic Ross-on-Wye is only 3 miles and Hereford with its cathedral and renowned Mappa Mundi is 18 miles. Pub serving good food 100 yards shop/post office 1 mile.

Even though our holiday was in November there was plenty to see and do, we had a wonderful holiday and so relaxing you wouldn't believe.
