Enjoying lovely countryside views and a delightfully relaxing ambience this immaculate little cottage whose name translates as 'cosy house' is a gem. Quietly set on the owners' smallholding (a sanctuary for rescued donkeys and horses) it sits in the heart of Pembrokeshire equidistant from the glorious beaches of the west and south coasts – Broadhaven Newgate Saundersfoot and Poppit are all about 15 miles. Walking in the local Preseli Hills visiting the gardens of Aberglasney and the National Botanic Gardens or indulging at a local cheese or chocolate producer are all readily available as are sea excursions riding surfing and the family attractions of Oakwood and Blue Lagoon (both about 5 miles). Excellent cycling fishing bird watching and sailing at Llys y Fran reservoir (3 miles). Pub and shop ½ mile.

" First class location to use as a base for visits all around Pembrokeshire. Good local facilities - friendly shop, pub and railway station (easy walk to all). Property owners helpful and welcoming. Super secure garden for our dogs. External photo of the property fails to show the superb internal standard of fittings and furniture - all spotless! " Whilst this is not a coastal location,it is ideally placed to reach all of the local attractions with a great rail service to surrounding areas too. The cottage is well fitted out and very comfortable. The welcoming tray of tea and cofee etc was unexpected and a nice touch. Great views from the patio doors. Non-intrusive owners who showed us around and were always available. Would visit again. Make sure you visit Scolton Manor and the castle in Haverford. "
