" Lovely cottage in a tranquil location. We've done a lot of touring and found some lovely nature parks. Would recommend Brecon Beacons and to avoid roads and take little country lanes. " We have had a lovely relaxing week at Vanilla Cottage. We were extremely impressed with all the information provided before arrival and in the cottage, and also the welcome bottle of wine, milk in the fridge, fresh flowers and the dogs were happy as there were even biscuits for them! The kitchen has everything - I bought my wok but you even had one so I didn't need it. You go to so many places that have one pan and thats it, so I was amazed by your excellent equipment - not that I did much cooking! We went up the lane to the Black Bear where the food is superb and the people are friendly, and we were also impressed by the 3 Salmons Hotel, the food was good and quite reasonable. Tintern Abbey is worth a visit, and make sure you use the cottages maps as there are so many lovely walks everywhere - thank you! "

" We have had a wonderful holiday at Vanilla Cottage with our border collie, Blue. Lovely walks and a complete rest. This is a wonderful location. Thank you for the wine, flowers and vodka. The beds were really comfy, plenty of hot water and nice pillows. The Butterfly Zoo near Ross is excelent and the waterfalls were brilliant. Wales is a fabulous country. Raglan Castle was very good even though it is a ruin. Thank you. "
