Just 3 miles from the New Forest National Park these two newly converted cottages nestle in the heart of the ancient village of Damerham – its Norman church occupying a splendid hilltop site. Set in the grounds of the 400 year old Compasses Inn which offers a warm welcome and very good food both cottages share the inns's lovely gardens overlooking the cricket green and surrounding countryside. The River Allen is just 100 yards away. Salisbury Plain Cranborne Chase and the Forest afford excellent walking and Wilton House Kingston Lacy (N.T.) Poole Bournemouth and excellent shopping in Southampton are all easily accessible. Shop 1 mile.

" The Compasses is an ideal location for accessing the New Forest, and its accommdation was excellent for my pet dog with the adjacent playing field to have an early morning walk before setting off on our travels, and again at night after a long day out! The Compasses itself offers excellent food and has a very friendly atmosphere with pets allowed in the public bar. "
