In the centre of a picturesque and peaceful Rutland Water village this perfectly charming spacious cottage and its lovely garden is one of a row set just 250 yards from the village pub which serves food. Two miles away the market town of Oakham offers fine shopping galleries restaurants coffee shops and inns and historic Uppingham home to the famous school is 4 miles. Nearby places of interest include Rockingham Castle Stamford Burghley House and Geoff Hamilton's lovely garden at Barnsdale. Local footpaths lead to wonderful views of Rutland Water with fishing and sailing (2 miles).

" The cottage was very well-equipped with little extras like wine and biscuits on arrival; cycles for our use and the provision of things like washing up liquid, soap etc. The owner was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The setting was excellent-near the pub and within a walk of Rutland's south shore! All in all a fantastic holiday. "
