Within a short drive of fine surfing beaches on the north Cornwall coast (Crackington Haven and Widemouth are both about 10 miles) these two cosy and comfortable pine lodges enjoy a peaceful setting in 14 acres of shared grounds with three fishing lakes. Wildlife abounds and children will love the friendly chickens and ponies. The bustling town of Bude's sandy beach and canal (12 miles) and the quaint harbours of Boscastle Port Isaac and Tintagel are all easily accessible as are the Camel cycle trail to Padstow walking on Bodmin Moor Launceston and Lanhydrock (N.T.). Shop and pub 4½ miles.

" Had a great time here 9-16th April 2011. Friendly owners and amazing animals. A total retreat and a very enjoyable time had by all. Down small roads but ideal to get to Boscastle and Camelford would recomend to all. And we hope Henry the turkey gets a girlfriend soon. Games room has loads of toys,pool table, football and beach stuff. Board games are in cabins as well as dvds for all. "

" An ideal location for visiting Cornwall in general, a quiet, tranquil setting, 2 comfortable lodges which are well equipped and set on a smallholding/fishery. Obviously ideal for fishing (2 small lakes), a small play area for children. Own transport needed, due to rural location, but recommended for relaxing and unwinding holiday. "

" Our holiday was just perfect, the log cabins are set in lovely surroundings on a family run farm, where you can buy fresh eggs bacon and sausages from the farm. It was our daughters first holiday she just loved the chickens roaming, they were tame so she could stroke them. The fishing lakes were beautiful. There is a lovely play area right outside your door so children can play safely. The cabins were really cosy and well equipped. The owners were really welcoming and very helpful throughout. I would definitely return to Adams Field, and would really recommend it to others. We hope to return next year. "
