A lovely private annexe to the owner’s property, approached through its own exclusive south-facing patio; perched on a hillside overlooking Blackbrook and the beautiful surrounding countryside. All on the ground level, Merrydellside is tastefully decorated, semi-detached property, and offers a master bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a large open plan designer kitchen, and living room with contemporary styling throughout.
Situated on a quiet lane, an array of stunning walks can be enjoyed right from the doorstep, so no need to use your car. Blackbrook is situated very close to Belper, in the Derwent valley, which has a long and famous history, dating back as far as the 13th century, and is a bustling town with attractions such as the North Mill, Long Row and the River Gardens. Belper also offers a plethora of cafes, fine dining, real ale pubs and an old fashioned boutique cinema. There are many walks, as well as cycling up and down the valley, and water sports can be found at Carsington Water.
Within easy reach are the traditional market towns of Ashbourne, Wirksworth, Bakewell and the grand Chatsworth House, not to mention Haddon Hall and Matlock Bath, with its spectacular cable cars. The restored Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and the renowned Crich Tramway Museum are a must for enthusiasts. Don’t leave without a visit to the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site in Cromford.
