Pets allowed Detached Cottage

Nestled in the rugged Coppermines Valley high above Coniston, Fellside offers a cosy retreat for two. For centuries, Coniston was the centre of the Lake District mining industry. This remote row of cottages is one of the historic reminders of that era, when Fellside was home to copperminers. Now, the cottage has been beautifully renovated, with an original fireplace, wood burning stove and open beams. It has uninterrupted views of the Old Man of Coniston. With numerous fantastic walks from the doorstep, your car need never move all week. Coniston itself is about a mile away, down an unmade road. It sits at the head of Coniston Water, bustling with shops, cafes and pubs. A short drive will take you to Hawkshead and Ambleside.

Many people prefer to book a detached property for their holiday. Fellside is detached which makes it ideal for extra peace and quiet. It is also beneficial to have a detached property if you are bringing your dog as they are less likely to be disturbed or disturb the neigbours.

BBQThere is one or more televisions at Fellside. Ideal if you want to catch up with the latest on your favourite programmes or just fancy a quiet night in relaxing in front of the box.
