Enjoying a delightful waterfront location, this very comfortably furnished and well-equipped, detached holiday home is set in the very heart of the Norfolk Broads. Full advantage is taken of the stunning views from its first floor living room, and these can be further savoured from the seating area on the verandah leading off. A lawned garden leads down to the river's edge, where a private mooring is available for a guests' boat, and use of an all-weather day boat to explore the famous waterways is also included.
Good bird-watching and fishing can be enjoyed from the property and a games room offers visitors table tennis and a pool table to while away spare time. A paradise for nature lovers, the Broads are the most important wetlands in Europe and are alive with ducks, geese and swans, as well as a host of other birdlife including spoonbills and herons. The area is crisscrossed by numerous footpaths and cycling trails, ideal for exploring on foot or by bicycle. The 56-mile Weavers' Way is a long-distance footpath that winds through the best parts of the Broads on its way from Cromer to Great Yarmouth.
Wroxham, the 'capital' of the Broads lies within easy reach, boasting many waterside cafes, restaurants, shops, railway station and other amenities. Using the river launch provided, it makes a pleasant way to discover the region, stopping off along the way.
