This beautifully presented, detached farmhouse has been exquisitely furnished with carefully chosen furnishings from the owners extensive travels - guests will love the comfort and peace of a relaxing holiday here. The kitchen has a gas range, breadmaker and an informal 6-seater dining table, whilst the separate formal dining room has seating and place settings for 12 diners. Should you wish to catch up on a bit of office work whilst you are away, the single bedroom has a computer desk for your convenience. Outside there are 3 acres of gardens with a barbecue area. The owners who occasionally live on-site, take great care in ensuring a memorable holiday and go the extra mile to make guests' stay enjoyable. Guests have sole use of the tennis court (rackets and balls provided) and gym area in the garage with a treadmill and dumbells. Fairylea House is accessed via a private track which takes you into the heart of the countryside.
There are panoramic views in all directions, yet Alyth, Coupar Angus and Blairgowrie are just a short drive away with excellent facilities ranging from quaint individual boutiques and fine dining restaurants to traditional tea and coffee shops. Strathmore is a lush, 10-mile wide valley which divides the Lowlands from the wild and majestic Highlands. This area is a paradise for golfing, angling (fishing permits available locally at £20 per day), field sports and birdwatching. The local country byways are also perfect for quiet walks or cycling, and is also the centre of fruit farming with delicious produce widely available. It also offers an excellent touring base to the stately homes, mountains, lochs and glens of Perthshire and Angus, as well as the beautiful coastline with sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages. The famous Gleneagles and St Andrew's Golf Resorts are only an hour's drive away. Beach 21½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
