The beautiful small city of Wells Cheddar Gorge and Caves Longleat House and Safari Park Glastonbury Abbey Glastonbury Tor and Bath are within easy driving distance.

The Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels are both close by offering excellent walking and cycling opportunities.

Riding golf swimming fishing (in rivers lakes and private fisheries) and many other activities are all available locally.

You’ll find a superb array of visitor attractions near all our holiday lodges in Somerset. Weston-Super-Mare, Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea boast family friendly, sandy beaches, traditional seaside amusements and great water sports, and for a more dramatic coastal experience, there’s Exmoor National lodge. This is Lorna Doone country, a stunning backdrop for horse riding, walking and canoeing. The Quantock Hills and Somerset Levels (both areas of outstanding natural beauty) are great for cycling and there’s abseiling and caving at Cheddar Gorge - the less active might prefer a guided tour of Wookey Hole.

    This was an ideal holiday for us - the peace and quiet of the lodges yet within close proximity of lots of things to do. Ideal for those who want to relax, chill out and take in what this delightful part of the country has to offer.

    Peaceful with wonderful open spaces for children to play without invading the privacy of other lodges and a very friendly reception. This was our second visit and we would visit again!
