This is an ideal property for a couple or two friends wishing to explore this region of the Highlands, or partake in some sporting activities.

Many people prefer to book a detached property for their holiday. St Orans is detached which makes it ideal for extra peace and quiet. It is also beneficial to have a detached property if you are bringing your dog as they are less likely to be disturbed or disturb the neigbours.

GardenOn nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in St Orans's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.

BBQWhy waste part of your holiday doing the washing up. St Orans has a dishwasher installed to save you time, and family arguements, about the washing up. Everybody hates doing the washing up and the last thing you need is a big family arguement about who is going to do the washing up while you are on holiday.

Pet friendly cottage breaks in Highlands

Pets welcomedIf you have a dog and you want to bring them with you on your holiday in Highlands then... Great news! St Orans welcomes dogs. Often cottage owners have some restrictions on where your dog can roam in the property and there may be a small extra charge. However, there is no reason why your pet needs to miss out on the family holiday.

More about St Orans

A warm Highland welcome awaits you at St Orans, a lovely little detached property for two, set in peaceful rural surroundings and close to the banks of the River Findhorn. The cottage makes a wonderful base for exploring this beautiful part of the Highlands of Scotland or to just relax and unwind in. Accessed by a track, it is surrounded by woodlands with a unique habitat which supports a large variety of wildlife and birdlife. This remote property also has access to 4G internet on all mobile phones and tablets.
The area is renowned for its excellent selection of walks, mountain bike trails, horse riding, golf and fishing along with a variety of water sports including white water rafting, canoeing and boat trips. Take a trip along the only malt whisky trail in the world with two of the distilleries close by – the Dallas Dhu and Benromach.
Slightly further afield you can visit the Highland capital of Inverness, with its wide selection of shops, restaurants, museums, theatre and leisure facilities. Visit Loch Ness and the ruins of Urquhart Castle or some of the other historical sites including Culloden Battlefield and Fort George, along with Brodie and Cawdor Castles.
