Alton Towers 20 miles. Pubs are a 0.5 miles walk (accessible path). Many people prefer to book a detached property for their holiday. Cedar Lodge is detached which makes it ideal for extra peace and quiet. It is also beneficial to have a detached property if you are bringing your dog as they are less likely to be disturbed or disturb the neigbours.

Enjoy a Barbecue

BBQOne of the key benefits of a self catering holiday is the ability to choose how you eat! Cedar Lodge has a barbeque so you can, weather permitting, cook outside and enjoy a barbeque on a warm summers night whilst enjoying the fresh air.

BBQWhy waste part of your holiday doing the washing up. Cedar Lodge has a dishwasher installed to save you time, and family arguements, about the washing up. Everybody hates doing the washing up and the last thing you need is a big family arguement about who is going to do the washing up while you are on holiday.

Visitor Reviews

" Fantastic location and very disabled friendly with mobility scooters avaliable for use. The lodge was also very well equiped. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. "

Mrs S Hampshire

" Fantastic accommodation, relaxing and peaceful settings, with plenty of activities for the children to do in the forestry centre. Ideal for both couples and families. "

Miss P Cheshire

" We were a group of 9 friends age 23-25 and it was great to be able to be a bit noisy without disturbing anyone. We didn't hear anyone else either even though all the lodges were occupied. Beautiful setting too and the music festival on site really topped off the weekend. "

Miss D

" Fantastic area, good quiet location. Alton towers and Drayton Manor only a short drive. "

Mrs. A

" It was great to find somewhere with disabled facilities. Not only was there an electric adjustable bed, walk in shower etc, but at my request they loaned us a hoist, a commode and an electric scooter all free of charge. Most of the paths through the forest are wide and flat and suitable for wheelchairs. The wildlife around the chalet was great - rabbits at all times and the evening fox. So quiet and restful yet the Forestry Centre is buzzing with activity, especially for children. I recommend it to families, disabled and those seeking peace and quiet. "

Mrs M Cheshire

" It was a great holiday and all 9 of us enjoyed it very much! We will be back for sure! - thanks for making it so memorable! "
