Visitor Reviews

" This is our perfect holiday destination for rest and relaxation. The location is beautiful, ideal for our dogs, and Sharon the owner has always been very welcoming. "

Mrs B

" I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this cottage. A warm welcome by Sharon when we arrived was the start of a lovely relaxing break at Meadow View. The cottage was lovely and just like home from home. A stones throw to the beach which Ruby loved. "

Mrs L Northamptonshire

" We have visited this lovely cottage twice now and hope that we will visit again soon, it is our perfect holiday destination. Very relaxing, excellent for the dogs and plenty of good fishing locally for my husband to enjoy. Sharon, the owner is always very welcoming and the cottage is very clean and very well equipped. We have recommended this holiday and will continue to do so. "

Mrs B

" This holiday was wonderful!! Just what the family needed, we had a wonderful time! "

Mrs M Bedfordshire

" Great beach location for dogs and young children, a peaceful break and spacious pretty cottage. "

Miss M Cambridgeshire

" A lovely place. We have just returned from a week with our 3 children, 17, 14 and 12 and our dog. The weather was good which helped and we had a wonderful relaxing week. On occasions we had the beach completely to ourselves which the dog loved as she had so much freedom to run, swim and play, as did the kids of course. The cottage is very spacious and perfect for us, we even had friends over with their 2 young children for a day and it didn't feel crowded. The sand dune over to the beach may be a little challenging but it is so worth it. On arrival our Tesco's delivery had arrived just before us and the owner was busy putting my shopping away for me....how kind is that?! Very clean, comfy cottage....I would recomend it to anyone who likes a quiet, relaxing, private holiday although of course you can travel from there to any of the busier seaside towns if you need a little hustle and bustle. "

Mrs C Bedfordshire

" There are no improvements to be made at Meadow View. The setting is idyllic, backing on to the sand dunes - it was quiet which is exactly what we needed - there was nothing to do unless we wanted to do it - the facilities were excellent - the dog thought she was in heaven, she was able to go onto the dunes all by herself!! You could maybe have arranged more sunshine but we do realise that you actually have no control over the weather. Walking distance to the pub and the best ice creams in the world - what more could we ask for? "

Mrs B Kent

" The cottage is spacious and well-equipped. It is situated on a sand dune that leads directly to a beautiful beach. The cottage and beach are perfect for dogs. There are numerous attractions within 1/2 hour drive of the property- ideal location for families with young children. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it. "

Miss S West Yorkshire

Mr C Surrey

" What a fantastic place to stay. The cottage was clean, comfy and spacious. A real home from home! Our daughter loved being so close to the beach, our dog loved chasing along the sand for miles and we loved sitting on the patio with a glass of wine in hand. It really is a gem of a place. Many thanks to the owner for making us feel so welcome as we arrived. "

Mr R Dorset

" A superb location for relaxing and experiencing both the coast and the broads. You are literally 30 seconds from an uncrowded dog friendly beach. "

Mrs J Kent

" The property is well equipped and very spacious it is ideally situated and not over looked at all. Access and parking very good and nice and secure for dogs. Direct acccess onto the beach is a bonus. All in all a great place to stay if you want peace and quiet but entertainment is only a five minute walk away. Would definitely book this property again. "

Mr B Hertfordshire

" It was the perfect location for a family holiday. No packing for the beach required it was so close. The Chalet was very well equiped and literally home from home. Very clean and easy to maintain. Would highly recommend it to anybody. A central base for visits to local amenities and other holiday activities. "
