This beautiful ‘chocolate box’ thatched cottage dates back to the 17th century and was once the village post office. A remnant of those days is the red post box adorning the front of the property. The interior of Corner Thatch has many period features including exposed timberwork, slate tiled floors and a brick fireplace with bread oven set above the gas effect wood burning stove. The master bedroom with en-suite occupies the first floor, while the second bedroom is conveniently located on the ground floor, also with an en-suite shower room. Outside there is a lovely, south facing garden with paved patio and garden furniture for four, the perfect spot for outdoor dining.

Corner Thatch is in easy driving distance of both the Cotswold and Warwickshire borders, including Stratford-upon-Avon only a 25 minute drive away. The surrounding countryside provides numerous walks over footpaths, bridleways and cycle routes though scenic fields, woodlands and the Piddle Brook watercourse.
