Nestling in a peaceful location in the picturesque village of Kniveton and dating back to 1750, these barn conversions (ref 29160 and 29161) offer quality accommodation, equipped and furnished to a very good standard with flair and imagination. Retaining much of the original charm and character, with beamed ceilings and interesting little niches, these two delightful holiday cottages, situated adjacent to the owners’ home, are ideally placed for exploring this beautiful area. The market town of Ashbourne, ‘Gateway to the Peak District’, and Dovedale are only 3 miles away where guests will find a good choice of shops, restaurants and pubs. Carsington Water offers sailing, windsurfing, rafting and canoeing and is an ideal place to spend a day out in the Derbyshire countryside. This is a wonderful location for walking and touring with Chatsworth House, Matlock, Buxton, Bakewell and the Potteries only a short drive away. Shop 3 miles, restaurant 1 mile and pub 500 yards. Please note: These properties can be booked together to accommodate a maximum of 6+3 guests.
