The original part of the house is believed to date from the 1650s. The house was extended in 1947 to create a spacious home featuring beautiful river views from nearly every room including the bedrooms, kitchen, sitting and dining rooms.
Riverside House has a large, south-facing garden that runs alongside the river. The terrace with garden furniture is perfect for outdoor dining while watching the world go by. The River Avon is a popular river route for narrowboats and several will be moored along the river bank by Riverside House. There’s also a small boat yard near the house where narrowboats can be hired for the day if you are feeling adventurous.
This delightful holiday home is located in a peaceful cul-de-sac in the large village of Bidford-upon-Avon which boasts a friendly community and has an array of shops and pubs in walking distance. There’s also a 26 acre riverside meadow open all year round for walkers and is an ideal spot for a picnic.
