Tucked back from the coast road in a quiet corner of Brancaster, this pretty character cottage is a ten minute walk away from Brancaster's wonderful wide, sandy beach and just three minutes to the excellent village pub, The Ship. Set over three floors, and beautifully styled on every level, you have found a really lovely place to escape to at any time of the year.
No. 3 Sutherland Cottages evokes a rather cool, relaxing and super comfy coastal vibe. True to character cottage form, the stairs are steep and the bathroom is downstairs, though the very generous tub is big enough for two! The fabulous dining kitchen is a real surprise; it's super spacious and light, and is bound to be where you'll enjoy spending time, especially in the summer when the full length doors are open to the garden. The invitingly cosy sitting room is just the place to snuggle up in the front of the wood burning stove with a mug of hot chocolate on a chilly day when the coastal winds are blowing or you just fancy chilling out with good book or the television tuned to your favourite show. The three bedrooms are arranged over two floors; a king-size and bunk room on the first, and another king-size on the top floor. The fully-enclosed and private garden at the back of the cottage catches the sun all day round and even a very determined dog will find they can't escape!
Particularly suited to a couple or two, or a family with children who enjoy the outdoors and coastal life. There are walks galore to be found both locally and further afield, stunning beaches to discover, try your hand at sailing or kayaking, maybe book a round of golf at one of the clubs along the coast. If eating is your chosen sport and you like to cook, you are spoilt for choice with delicious fresh fish, locally produced meat and cheese, and an excellent supply of home grown seasonable vegetables. If you prefer to eat out, you can't really go wrong with any of the village pubs that are dotted along the coast. And, finally, don't forget to bring a pair of binoculars - very handy to have at all times - the birdlife is stunning.

The cottage allows a maximum of four adults.
One well-behaved dog welcome (small additional charge).
Babies are welcome but please note there is no high chair or stair gate provided.
The steep stairs are not suitable for toddlers to negotiate on their own, and may well also be an issue for anyone with restricted mobility.
Duvets are feather, pillows are a mix of feather (4) and synthetic (6).
There is a neighbours right of access across the rear garden, though it is very rarely used for coal delivery, and then only by arrangement.
