Set in the heart of a private country estate in West Dorset, Goose Run Cottage is so secluded that you probably won’t hear any traffic or see many other people at all while you’re here. Relax and focus on the birdsong all around you. Stroll through the wild flower meadows and the woodland, or climb the tree house and keep your eyes peeled for the birds and the wildlife. Then sit out on the patio as dusk descends. The lack of light pollution makes the stars seem like you could reach out and touch them.

If you decide to venture further afield, you’re just a short drive away from some of the South West’s best destinations, including Bridport and Lyme Regis. After a day exploring, you can come back to your own private hideaway and relax in comfort.
