Swallow Cottage is a charming little holiday home for two or a single person looking to get away from it all. This single-storey cottage is a converted stone farm building that overlooks a central courtyard, and is an ideal base for exploring Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coastline.
Great news if you just want to get away for a long weekend or short break. Swallow Cottage accepts bookings for short breaks. So if you fancy a few days in Dorset to recharge your batteries then this cottage is well worth consideration.
Small and perfectly formed, Swallow Cottage is a charming single-storey cottage that retains a number of its original features, including the whitewashed stone walls. On the same site we also offer Owl Cottage, Lark Cottage and Blackbird Cottage.
The accommodation is simple and comfortable, with a double bedroom and an en-suite bathroom as well as an open-plan living and dining area, with a digital television and DVD player. The games building comes fully equipped with a selection of DVDs, books and board games, so there’s plenty to keep you entertained at the end of a long and enjoyable day.
There are excellent walks through the East Devon countryside right from the door of your cottage, and within an easy drive are the popular resorts of Charmouth and Lyme Regis. The cottage is perfectly situated for enjoying the coast or countryside and for those looking to relax and unwind there is an al fresco dining area in the enclosed garden. Guests can also use the heated swimming pool and hot tub while staying at Swallow Cottage (private slots bookable) – perfect for a rejuvenating dip after a long walk.
Additional Information
Up to two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge per dog). Dogs to be kept on leads please due to sheep or guests who are wary of dogs.
Pool area is accessed by a PIN coded door for security and is time-slot booked for private use. Please provide your own pool towels and supervise children at all times. Please note that the swimming pool and spa is not currently available due to COVID-19 policies.
