Easily accessible and a comfortable holiday home all on the ground floor level. Anchor is found in a quiet residential street and guests can walk downhill to the bustling sea front and promenade within 10 minutes and reach the main shopping area, with its cafes, pubs and restaurants. Nearby is the Sea Front, with its sandy beaches, Langmoor Gardens and the historic Cobb; so visitors can park their cars at Anchor and forget about them for the entire holiday! This modern, light and airy apartment offers ease of movement, making it very suitable for those guests who may have limited mobility. Lyme Regis itself is a truly fantastic place. Situated on the magnificent Jurassic Coast, it's known as the pearl of Dorset and upon visiting, it's easy to see why. A famous spot for fossil hunters worldwide, it also sits on the South West Coast Path and offers a whole host of wonderful hikes and walks nearby. Lyme Regis' sheltered south-facing beaches are safe for both children and water sport enthusiasts, with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour. It has a fantastic food and music scene and is often used as a prime filming location. There are also vast amounts of festivals and events happening in the town throughout the year. Some of the bigger ones include the jazz and folk festivals, Food Rocks, Regatta & Carnival Week, Guitars on The Beach, and Lifeboat Week which offers a week of fun, games, music and displays for all the family. Of course, there are also loads of smaller events happening as well!
