Quite simply one of the best locations you could wish for on a seaside holiday. The first floor apartment enjoys wonderful sea views from the comfort of the lounge and overlooks the bustling Cobb Square and harbour area. The location is perfectly placed and is only a brief walk to the sandy beach, countless restaurants, beach cafes and bars. From the lounge and bedroom you can enjoy far reaching sea views of the coastline. A well equipped, apartment delivering the basic necessities for a great holiday by the sea. Lyme Regis itself is a truly fantastic place. Situated on the magnificent Jurassic Coast, it's known as the pearl of Dorset and upon visiting, it's easy to see why. A famous spot for fossil hunters worldwide, it also sits on the South West Coast Path and offers a whole host of wonderful hikes and walks nearby. Lyme Regis' sheltered south-facing beaches are safe for both children and water sport enthusiasts, with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour. It has a fantastic food and music scene and is often used as a prime filming location. There are also vast amounts of festivals and events happening in the town throughout the year. Some of the bigger ones include the jazz and folk festivals, Food Rocks, Regatta & Carnival Week, Guitars on The Beach, and Lifeboat Week which offers a week of fun, games, music and displays for all the family. Of course, there are also loads of smaller events happening as well! Short breaks are very likely to be available on any changeover day (except Sunday) during the low season and some mid season.
