The Old Workshop is a superb cottage in the grounds of a Grade II* listed former mill on the River Goyt, just on the edge of the Derbyshire town of New Mills. The cottage is all on the first floor and sleeps seven people in three double bedrooms (one with a pull-out bed) along with two family bathrooms. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking and access to the river and a myriad of walks. The Old Workshop is a superb holiday home in an historic building set in a magnificent location.
There is wifi or internet access available at The Old Workshop in New Mills. Perfect for searching for things to do whilst on holiday, catching up on emails or even work if you have to.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in The Old Workshop's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.
There is one or more televisions at The Old Workshop. Ideal if you want to catch up with the latest on your favourite programmes or just fancy a quiet night in relaxing in front of the box.

Gas central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 3 cars. Small terrace accessed through one of the bedrooms. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, pub and restaurants 10 mins walk. Note: There are many stone steps and ledges and a fast flowing river close by, children will require very close supervision and the cottage is not suitable for people with limited mobility as it can only be accessed by fairly steep steps.
