Waterfall Cottage is a beautiful, well presented courtyard cottage located in the hamlet of Bowden near Dartmouth. The cottage has two bedrooms one of which has an ensuite, parking, a private garden and benefits from overlooking the beautiful landscaped communal gardens and tennis court at the gorgeous Higher Bowden Estate. This is a tranquil location, perfect for a family holiday, a relaxing break with friends or a couples; retreat where the cosy log burner can ward off the winter blues. Whatever the season Waterfall Cottage is a super place for exploring and enjoying the South Hams. Higher Bowden is nestled in the heart of the pretty South Hams countryside with superb landscaped gardens having Blackpool Sands beach and the popular Venus cafe only 1 mile away along pretty Devon lanes. In the summer this picturesque venue also has open air cinema nights and ‘tunes on the sands; in July. A little further on is the village of Stoke Fleming, with a good pub, a restaurant and a village shop, five minutes further along the coastal road is the historic town of Dartmouth full of cafes, shops, pubs and eateries. Slapton Ley Nature Reserve and many other villages, towns and superb South Devon beaches are not far away. Explore, Kingsbridge and the popular sailing town of Salcombe and the independent, bohemian town of Totnes with good rail links. Dartmoor is only a forty minute drive and there are plenty of beaches and the South West coast Path and Woodlands Leisure Park to explore to name just a few of the things to do in this fabulous location.
