This comfortable three-bedroom cottage is in a stunning location just off the Norfolk Coastal path. It enjoys far reaching views across the marshes whilst being close to the centre of the delightful village of Thornham and comes with a fully-enclosed garden perfect for children and dogs.
Wigeon Cottage is in a very special location, close to the centre of the delightful village of Thornham and within easy walking distance of all its amenities, pubs and restaurants. The cottage is one of our most popular properties, particularly with walkers and bird watchers.
Carefully designed to maximise the light from the south-facing aspect, the cottage has a lovely spacious and roomy feel throughout. A perfect blend of contemporary and traditional styling, thoughtfully decorated with keen attention to detail by the owners. The ground floor of the property is open-plan and light and airy, with wooden floors throughout and a contemporary wood burning stove. There is a spacious seating area, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen and is ideal for families or groups of friends. A custom made staircase leads to the first floor where there are three double rooms, all with vaulted ceilings maximising light and space. The master bedroom has a large shower room and there is a family bathroom.
Outside the property there is plenty of parking and a fully enclosed rear garden with garden furniture and a terrace. There is a lovely corner pagoda to enjoy the evening sunshine and perhaps a barbecue.
Additional Information
Two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge).
This cottage is designed to accommodate six guests only and as such the owners request that it is not used by larger parties by booking Wigeon in conjunction with neighbouring Sea Holly.
