Only a 10 minute drive from the sandy beaches of the Camel Estuary and the attractive fishing harbour of Port Isaac, this cosy little wing of the owners 14th century farmhouse is tucked away in a tranquil setting to one side of Pollingarrow Farm near the picturesque village of St Kew. Peacefully situated, the property is entered through a fenced and gated patio garden with a private and sheltered sitting out area, and the front door set beneath an open porch roof leads directly into a warm and inviting small living room with a low ceiling. The room is light and attractive with a comfortable lounge settee, a dining suite set in one corner and a neatly fitted galley kitchen with restful views over the adjoining meadow with ducks and geese. To complete the ground floor accommodation, there is a fully tiled walk-in shower room and a utility room with laundry facilities at the rear. From the living room, rather steep carpeted stairs lead up to a small landing, a cloakroom W. C. with hand basin and a double bedroom with a velux window set into the sloping ceiling and partially exposed beams. There is a wall mounted heater in each room and ample parking space is available on site. The village of St Kew about 3 / 4 of a mile away has a pretty church and a beautiful 15th century pub that offers good food. St Kew Highway is a five minute drive and has a pub, garage, and mini market, and there is a 9 hole golf course and farm shop 1 mile away. For a wider selection of amenities, the market town of Wadebridge is 3 miles and the golden sandy beaches of Polzeath, famed for its surfing, Daymer Bay and Rock are all within easy driving distance.
