A super, secluded detached holiday house, perfect for families and friends, with plenty of space to relax and unwind, and only a short stroll away from the 'hub' of this popular seaside town, a seven minute walk to the Quay, and twenty five minutes to the beach. Tucked away down a quiet lane behind the beautiful Buttlands Green, Heron House is a hidden gem, enjoying a sunny, south facing aspect, a large garden and, what everyone wants in Wells, private parking! The house is immaculately presented and offers comfortable and well-equipped holiday accommodation, ideal for a short break or longer stay at any time of the year.
Downstairs there is an impressive bespoke kitchen/breakfast room, where everyone can congregate and enjoy sociable meal times, and a choice of two delightfully sunny rooms to relax in - a sitting room and a garden room which both overlook the garden. There is plenty of storage space for boots and coats, as well as a laundry room, utility and cloakroom. Upstairs (the stairs are quite steep) there are three bedrooms (king size, double and twin) and two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. Heron House is an ideal family house but also perfect for couples and friends to enjoy.
Wells-next-the-Sea is a superb destination, with everything you can possibly need right on the doorstep - independent butchers, bakers, fishmongers and greengrocers, home ware stores, boutiques and gift shops, two supermarkets and an excellent selection of good eateries. And, of course, don't forget the stunning beach with its colourful array of beach huts, and the bustling Quay where you just have to try your hand at crabbing and some of the best fish and chips around.
